Overview
The IT PMO Manager is responsible for overall coordination, reporting and analysis of IT projects. In this role, the Manager will lead a team of project managers and business analysts to enhance and adhere to project management solutions, processes, and methodologies, as well as monitor results for the IT projects that ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet business objectives. This role will report to the VP of Information Technology with direct people management responsibilities.
This is an on-site position located at our Worldwide Headquarters in Des Moines, Iowa.

Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and manage a team of project management professionals overseeing IT projects
- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture, encouraging continuous learning and professional growth
- Provide guidance on project execution, resource allocation and troubleshooting
- Oversee the portfolio of IT projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and priorities
- Work closely with senior leadership to define project scope, timelines, budgets and resource needs
- Monitor project progress, track key milestones, and manage resources and risks to ensure o-time delivery and quality outcomes
- Develop and implement standardized project management processes, methodologies, and tools for the team
- Ensure adherence to industry best practices for IT project, ensuring efficient workflows and high-quality results
- Continuously review and optimize processes to improve efficiency and project success rates
- Serve as the primary point of contact of stakeholders and leadership on project status, challenges and successes
- Prepare and deliver regular project reports, including progress updates, risk assessments and financial status
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and facilitate smooth project execution
- Develop and manage the IT PMO operational budget
- Monitor expenses and ensure cost effective use of resources
- Review and negotiate contracts with vendors and service provider
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business or technology related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of direct management experience
- Minimum of 5 years of Project management experience
- PMP or equivalent certification, other industry certifications a plus
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to manage complex IT Projects and deliver results
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
