We're hiring! Kemin is seeking a QA Associate to join our team in Des Moines. The QA Associate will be responsible for printing, tracking, reporting, and maintaining product labels. The ideal candidate will have a high level of accuracy and ability to work cross functionally with other departments in Kemin.

Responsibilities
- Prints finished product labels.
- Tracks and reports label inventory and related items.
- Maintains records related to label printing.
- maintains label printing equipment.
- Communicates with Production staff on daily label needs.
- Must follow all procedures and SOPs/forms and assist with updates.
- Must maintain proper quality documentation.
- Participate in internal audits, as necessary.
- Daily data entry as applicable.
- Assist with nonconformities, as applicable.
- Must follow the Quality Management System.
- Must work closely with cross functional teams including; Operations, R&D, and other quality groups.
- Follow and maintain an environment of food and/or feed safety in compliance with rules and regulations, as applicable.
Qualifications
- Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent with up to 5 years of related experience.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 55 pounds.
- Must hold a valid driver’s license in order to travel among locations to complete duties.
- Previous manufacturing, warehouse, inventory, inspection, or other related experience preferred.
- Detail oriented with ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Experience with computers including Microsoft Excel and inventory database software preferred.
- Consistent organizational, record keeping and follow-up skills.
- Self-motivation and problem solving skills.
- Fork-lift certified, or has the ability to become certified through onsite training
