Your Role: Strategic Partership, Customer Marketing Consultant
As a Strategic Partnership Home Delivery Marketing Consultant, you’re responsible for pet owner and vet marketing strategy, ideation, alignment, and execution within the US Pet Health Strategic Partnerships team.
Role is the liaison between strategic account (national accounts and distributers) sales/marketing, brand and vet sales. This individual works collaboratively with Brand teams to ensure translation of Brand plans to strategic partnerships. Provides input to brand teams as to what’s possible within strategic accounts for the omnichannel pull through of brand strategy. Partners with strategic partnership marketing to build strategic marketing plans and related sell-through and brand campaign assets.
Your Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with Elanco US Marketing and Consumer Brand Experience Team to execute an integrated, B2C and B2B, Strategic Partnership Home Delivery marketing strategy and plan within the SP Team. In addition, this role may support marketing and pull through efforts with small-mid size corporate account customers
Build internal cross-functional relationships (US Marketing, US Consumer Brand Experience, Strategic Partnership Sales and Marketing teams and US Retail Shopper and Sales teams.)
Ensure key partners’ interests and unique needs are considered when developing strategies, promotions, and programs.
Manage and execute the Home Delivery P&L, including customer pricing, regulatory approval processes, programs, and all back-end work to support the strategy.
Understand campaign ecosystems to enable creation of holistic/omni-channel programs.
Understand marketing performance and how to influence the optimization of programs and spending.
Support account managers and strategic partnership marketers through all marketing efforts.
Analyze & report back marketing performance to SP account managers, brand teams and USPH Lead Team.
Work with internal data team on ROI read out cadence.
Train cross-functional internal teams on any high-level SP marketing efforts.
What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
Required Experience: 3+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or consumer packaged goods marketing.
Marketing background, including general understanding of digital levers and relationship marketing.
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):
Experience working with an ad agency to brainstorm tactics and marketing strategies.
In-depth knowledge of the Companion Animal Market and products available. · Understanding of how to strategically think through customer problems and goals.
E-commerce marketing experience
Customer marketing experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including excellent speaking and presentation skills.
Ability to leverage market research insights into annual planning and execution.
Project management: experience following through long term on a project and ability to prioritize
