About The Role
Responsibilities
As our HR Shared Services Leader, you will be at the forefront of transforming our HR service delivery across Europe Middle East & Africa. You will lead a talented international team, drive process improvements, and ensure you provide top-notch HR services to our employees. This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of our HR operations, with a focus on efficiency, quality, and employee satisfaction.
You will lead the EMEA HR Shared Services Team and ensure smooth service delivery. Reporting to the Head of Global HR Operations, you will connect HR Services, Centers of Excellence, and HR Business Partners to support a well-functioning HR team
You will use your management skills to work with non-HR stakeholders, helping HR be efficient and transparent with the business.
You will oversee the HR Services Portfolio, making sure services meet compliance, quality standards, and service level agreements (SLAs), together with your CI HR Operations peers.
HR Administration and Payroll for the EMEA region will be part of your role. This includes keeping track of local law changes that affect different payroll systems. You’ll make sure all processes follow Global HR standards while supporting improvements within CI teams.
With a digital mindset, you will look for ways to improve HR Services through technology and automation—doing more with less.
You will also manage and report on your budget, understanding how HR Services affect the company’s finances.
Your knowledge of scrum/agile and processes will help you quickly adapt to the HR Services Leader role.
Leadership and Management:
- Lead and manage the HR service delivery team providing guidance, training, and development opportunities for the team and set performance goals that support the team with a realistic development path.
HR Operations:
- Oversee day-to-day HR operations, including employee inquiries through the established channels of communication (tickets), HR data management, and compliance with HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, benefits administration, and other tasks in the HR Services portfolio.
Service Delivery:
-Develop and manage HR service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure timely and quality HR service delivery and monitor and report on key HR metrics and performance indicators with close focus on Ticket related metrics.
Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in HR service delivery and stay updated on HR best practices and industry trends to implement innovative HR solutions.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations and manage HR audits and compliance reviews, ensuring all HR activities are in line with regulatory requirements.
Skills and Expertise
Qualifications
Master level with 10+ years HR experience or alternatively Bachelor level with 14+ year’s HR experience, 5+ years managerial experience
8-10 years of relevant HR experience, with 3-5 years in a service centre or HR transactional role.
Managerial and coaching experience.
Strong knowledge of global HR processes, global project management help desk technology, and payroll processing.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Dutch, French, German or Spanish is an asset.
Excellent strategic and tactical thinking capabilities.
Results-oriented with strong problem-solving and project management skills.
Commitment to service excellence and data-driven decision-making.
Exceptional problem analysis, judgment, and attention to detail.
