Role Overview
This position will support regional and Opco, strategy development, lead multi-country strategic initiatives, and contribute to the execution of country-specific projects. The Senior Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Finance, Operations, Technical) and local Opcos to ensure Nutreco's strategies in Asia are effectively developed and implemented.
Key Responsibilitiess
- Lead the development and implementation of regional and species strategies, covering projects from organic business development to capital expenditure cases and M&A.
- Manage cross-functional project teams-including global and regional stakeholdersto deliver on strategic priorities.
- Oversee portfolio and lifecycle strategies for select species' products and services.
- Monitor progress on key initiatives, track milestones, and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
- Drive commercial excellence initiatives across QaCes, including Key Account Management, segmentation, pricing, and related capabilities.
- Deliver insights on market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer needs to inform go-to-market strategies.
- Collaborate with R&D, Product Management, and Sales to translate scientific developments into commercial solutions.
- Identify, assess, and recommend partnership opportunities to leadership.
- Support the Director of Strategy & BD in evaluating equity transactions and joint venture opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Veterinary Science, Agriculture, Anima! Science, or a related field preferred
- 10+ years experience in Strategy, PMO, or Business Development roles within the animal nutrition industry or adjacent sectors preferred
Experience leading Commercial Excellence initiatives or implementing digital tools and capabilities would be highly valued. - Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams without formal authority and manage complex stakeholder relationships
Strong analytical and communication skills, with high proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel - Comfortable working in a matrixed organization with both regional and global stakeholders
