Description
Truck Shop Manager
This position will be responsible for managing truck shop activities which would include leading of other employees while understanding operations efficiencies and general procedures.
BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure that all employees are working safely and following PPC safety policies and procedures
- Maintain repair records and preventive maintenance programs on all equipment
- Train and update training on all employees to provide high quality repairs to all Pilgrim's Pride rolling stock
- Provide positive people oriented work environment designed to improve skills, build morale and reduce turnover
- Operate within the guidelines of environmental laws and regulations
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience
- Knowledge of DOT regulations
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office programs); SAP experience preferred
- Must have effective oral and written skills
- Self-motivated and ability to work well with others
- Adherence to regulations and company policies
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma/GED; Bachelor’s Degree preferred but would consider a combination of education and work experience.
