Reporting to the Customer Care Team Leader, the Customer Care Advisor is dedicated to delivering exceptional service and support to a diverse customer base. This role serves as the first point of contact for customer inquiries, complaints, and issues, ensuring a high standard of service. The Advisor will be responsible for assessing, investigating, and resolving customer concerns efficiently, proactively identifying and addressing issues across various customer segments.

Deliver outstanding customer service by responding to and managing customer queries via email, phone, and live chat, while keeping internal databases updated with progress.
Take ownership of both bulk and complex customer delivery issues across business-owned van networks and third-party couriers.
Assessing inbound queries, investigating concerns, and coordinating with relevant departments using appropriate tools, including CCTV software.
Keep customers informed with regular updates on their inquiries and resolutions.
Identify process inefficiencies and propose improvements to enhance workflow and customer experience.
Engage in training opportunities to expand product and business knowledge, actively seeking professional development.
Stay updated on product information, business updates, and company communications to ensure accurate and timely customer support.
Work within a rota system, including Sundays and Bank Holidays, as required by management.
Complete all tasks professionally and efficiently, contributing to a well-organised and high-performing customer care team.
More about you
Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service or internal sales role, ideally within a sales-driven organisation.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills:
Familiarity with the veterinary profession or animal health market is highly desirable.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with Salesforce CRM or similar in-house systems.
Prior experience using CCTV software is beneficial (training provided).
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong ability to handle customer interactions professionally and effectively.
