We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Warehouse Shipper/Receiver for our St. Marys, ON location. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing communication across all production aspects with other departments. You will collaborate closely with production staff to establish order priorities in alignment with manufacturing requirements and received products, ensuring a streamlined workflow and efficient operations.
Responsibilities:
- Receiving and shipping of ingredients and finished feeds per company standards
- Forklift operation
- Constant quality awareness
- Housekeeping and minor maintenance as required
- Work with all employees to maintain integrity of company standards
- Maintain courteous and professional relationship with customers and co-workers
- Ensure a positive customer experience
- Receives product into M3, LIMS and WEM systems
- Completes inventory and shortage reports
- Adheres to the safety and food safety requirements per Trouw Nutrition protocols and other regulatory bodies (CFIA/HACCP/SGS)
- Other duties as required.
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- 2-3 yrs. experience in a grain facility, mill or manufacturing industry
- Strong, problem solving and decision making abilities
- Class 5 license an asset
- Willingness to be coached and learn processes
- Forklift and skid steer experience is an asset
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills and numeracy and accuracy
Expectation from the Role:
- Full-time; Shift from 12 pm to 8 pm M - F; Overtime as required; Permanent.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to regularly bend and twist, open and close lids, climb ladders and work at heights, and lift 25 kgs.
- Physical Work Conditions: Often exposed to loud sounds, distracting noise levels, and dusty environment.
