We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for our Selko brand in Indianapolis, IN.
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for directing the daily activities of the maintenance team. These responsibilities include setting/redirecting priorities, assigning work, being a technical resource, personnel development, utilizing the CMMS system assuring all activities are logged and closed correctly while maintaining compliance with current good manufacturing practices (cGMPs), good documentation practices (GDPs) and health safety and environmental (HSE) guidelines.

Please note that this position will require occasional “hands-on” working with the Maintenance Technicians on breakdowns or projects.
This is a 1st shift position that will require a variance schedule of Monday thru Friday and Sunday thru Thursday, and on-call for off shift issues. May be required to work off shifts and weekends on occasion.
About The Role
Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing daily maintenance operations across 3 shifts including attendance, overtime, operational issues, performance management, development planning and reporting of results.
Responsible for team’s compliance and meeting the quality standards as defined by cGMPs, the Global Quality Standards, local procedures. Responsible to audit the work of maintenance staff to assure work has been completed correctly and the work area kept clean.
Ensures all work is performed in compliance with all relevant safety regulations and procedures to prevent / avoid any incidents. Signals potential hazardous and / or unsafe situations, takes appropriate action in case of imminent unsafe situations.
Main point of contact for emergency maintenance and responsible for escalation of any issues that relate to safety and production
Communicates with the Plant Manager, Production Manager and Supply Chain managers and Production Supervisors to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of operations
Skills and Expertise
Qualifications:
5-8 years’ Experience with Industrial maintenance required, plus 3 years in a supervisory capacity
Thorough working knowledge of pumps, electric and pneumatic, valves, piping, hydraulics
Experience with reading and interpreting blueprints, mechanical & electrical Prints
Self-motivated, responsible and Safety Oriented.
