If you are prepared for your next career opportunity, apply today for the position of: Business Unit Manager - Ruminants (BUM) The Business Unit Manager - Ruminants (BUM) is accountable for driving the Ruminants BU strategy, in close collaboration with all stakeholders, in alignment with the global, and local business unit strategy. The BUM is responsible for the preparation of strategic and tactical marketing plans in order to maximize the performance of product portfolio in the local market; leads the Ruminant BU team in the implementation of the BU strategic plan and the generation of revenues up to and exceeding target; liaises with key customers to ensure mutual business success and constantly maintains high customer-centricity; leads by example and is adept and agile in a complex environment; enables networks in order to simplify, advancing new ways of working to ensure commercial excellence, strong collaboration with internal stakeholders and with customers in order to support future growth and expansion of the BU franchise. The BUM acts as a member of the Greek leadership team, developing the strategic approach for the portfolio and being responsible for the P&L of the relevant species BU. Responsibilities: Provide leadership and direction to the team, including setting goals, developing, and implementing strategies, and managing performance. Manage budgets and resources within the team to effectively deliver on strategic priorities. Foster a collaborative, inclusive, accountable and results-oriented culture. Ensure that all team members adhere to relevant policies, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements (SOPs). Mentor and develop team members to reach their full potential through consistent coaching and feedback. Manage effectively a sales force team, achieving a new customer engagement model by leveraging all available channels of communication with an Omnichannel approach. Build and execute BU’s marketing/commercial plans and strategies including financial budgets across the product ranges in the BU. Drives sales accountability by setting ambitious sales targets and maximizes performance (sales volume, market share and profit) Partner with Global and Regional leadership in the matrix structure, to ensure effective and timely product marketing campaigns for the products Be responsible for the BU P&L and collaborate closely with the Finance Business Partner. Anticipate market trends and market opportunities that can impact our company’s business. Implement an effective Sales Force Effectiveness Strategy with the appropriate KPI’s in place. Build effective and mutually beneficial relationships with key customers including key accounts and buying groups. Responsible for rapid operational problem resolution; is the local point of contact for customer-critical issues in the cluster related to product supply, pricing and problem resolution. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, or in a relevant field is a plus) Master’s degree or MBA is a plus 3-5 years’ proven experience in a senior people management position with substantial experience working in a highly-matrixed network and P&L responsibility.
