POSITION SUMMARY: This position will be responsible for receiving requisitions via SAP and assigning purchase orders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned
- Communicating and confirming information with vendors.
- Tracking all orders for materials and services to insure timely and accurate processing.
- Maintains good vendor relations.
- Supplying support and assistance to Corporate Buyers.
- Other duties as required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES
- High School Diploma/GED is required; 4-year degree is preferred
- Two or more years of purchasing experience is preferred Proficient skills in Microsoft Office suite
- Must have excellent computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Internet Explorer.
- SAP software experience preferred
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal relation skills, must be able to work with all levels of management and hourly team members
- Strong work ethic—self-motivated and driven
- Must be self-motivated to perform simultaneous tasks without close continuous supervision
